The latter gives an unusual brilliance to the role of a humiliated friend. His ample, fleshy, insolently projected voice impresses as much as his presence. This superbness gives him his true place as "deus ex machinae".

Leon Košavić was the real star of the evening, an irresistible Papageno in his acting and in the rendition of the character and vocally very musical (as in “Der Vogelfanger bin Ich ja” and “Ein Mädchen oder Webchen”). The voice was very well projected, both in the spoken and sung interventions.

It is the Figaro of the young Croatian baritone Leon Košavić, a former member of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium, who wins the first laurels. The voice, powerful, supple and rich, is combined with a strong stage presence.

Who wouldn't succumb to the captivating resonances of Leon Košavić as Guglielmo? His voice is as assured as his status as an officer and his comic performance is delightful.
